Pembrokeshire County Council has a statutory duty to secure sufficient and suitable school places in its area and to determine whether it is making the best use of the resources and facilities to deliver the opportunities that children deserve.
At its meeting on 10th October 2019, Pembrokeshire County Council considered a report which outlined a request from the governing body of Milford Haven School to consult on the removal of the sixth form from the school. The report referred to a letter that had been received from the chair of the governing body of the school which outlined a number of factors that had led to its decision.
But before making a decision to remove the Sixth Form we'd like to hear your views. How do you feel about the prospect of the Sixth Form being removed? Would you have a preference on a specific site for relocation? Please share your thoughts, views and opinions to help inform the next stage of the process.
